Overview
MS Black and Galvanised ERW Pipes are high-strength steel pipes manufactured using advanced Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) technology. These pipes are designed for durability, dimensional accuracy, and reliable performance across water transmission, structural, industrial and agricultural applications.
Galvanised ERW pipes offer enhanced corrosion resistance through zinc coating, making them suitable for long-term exposure to moisture and external environments.
Manufacturing Process
ERW Pipes are manufactured from high-quality Hot Rolled (HR) coils through a precision-controlled process:
Steel strips are cold-formed into a cylindrical shape.
The longitudinal edges are heated using High Frequency current.
Edges are pressure welded to form a continuous welded tube.
Weld seam is heat-treated and normalized for strength.
Pipes undergo sizing, straightening, and finishing operations.
For Galvanised Pipes:
Black ERW pipes are processed through a controlled hot-dip galvanizing line.
Pipes are immersed in molten zinc, forming a uniform metallurgical bond.
Zinc coating provides corrosion protection and extended service life.
