Manufacturing Process
DI pipes are manufactured through a controlled centrifugal casting process:
Molten iron is treated with magnesium to enhance ductility.
The molten metal is poured into rotating moulds.
Centrifugal force ensures uniform distribution and wall thickness.
Pipes undergo annealing heat treatment to improve strength and flexibility.
Internal lining and external coatings are applied as per standards.
Final inspection and hydrostatic testing ensure quality compliance.
This process results in pipes with high tensile strength and excellent toughness.
